- Social and economical reasons such as emerging markets which compel businesses to expand while understand and retaining local talent and leadership, while maintaining core values and standards. Moreover, acknowledging the skill gap issues allows a company to stay and remain competitive, HR functions are now identifying the development and training to bridge the gaps and methods for talent acquisition.

- The evolution of HR functions/roles have changed and it is not the same as it was a decade ago. HRM now requires analytics and the usage of technology to support the employees in a way that it aligns with the business strategic objectives. A more diverse set of job types and career paths need to be put in place to get more value combining HRM and business functions.
