Recently, it has been observed that there is an increasing demand of HR professionals by many businesses as they are increasingly involving HRM when planning out business decisions, developing business strategy, and setting business objectives. Organisations are increasingly turning towards a more strategic approach to HRM to grow their businesses successfully. It has been observed that there is a shift in HR needs, with organisations requiring a more human-centric approach, relying on their employees to be a more involved component in business decisions, business strategy, and setting business objectives. This has proven to drive innovation and led to greater success. Therefore, there is a greater focus on talent acquisition and management and employee engagement and satisfaction.

As a result, HR professionals are moving away from the traditional HRM to a more strategic approach to HRM. They are moving from managing personnel record and administrative work towards a more critical role which includes talent acquisition, training, and overall employee well-being.
