People management is important for organizations because it helps to retain and motivate existing employees to perform better by providing a direction for all employees to work towards to, clearing obstacles faced by interdepartmental employees, empowering employees to independently resolve issues faced through their own solutions and to allow employees to develop further by providing tailored training.


Without proper people management, organizations may find trouble to retain talents and have to spend valuable time and cost to replace exiting employees.
