I believe that both academics and HR professionals have adapted to SHRM is due to the fact that companies have evolved over the years and have grown over the years. SHRM allows the company to manage overall company successes, have a framework set into place so people understand the business' goals, standards, advantages that are given which allows more clear directions of the company. This also helps with the ever increasing diversity of people from all corners of the world come together and understand each other.
