Lecturer Introduction
Hello and welcome
My name is Dr Jugindar Singh and I will be one of your instructors. You will be supported by our team of experienced instructors: Prof Dr Murali, Associate Prof Jason Turner, Dr Ibiwani and others. I want to welcome you, and I would encourage you to go through the course materials provided and attempt the activities and assessments. All details of this module can be found in the Module descriptor. This course will have regular activities, discussions forums, as well as readings and course materials. You must manage your own time and know when assignments and any other weekly course obligations are due. You will also be supported by your supervisor
In addition, students must read books, articles, and watch videos to acquire more knowledge and skills. It is also very important for students to plan and retain the momentum when doing research. Each student must develop a plan to complete this module within the semester. Procrastination is very risky as continuous procrastination may result in delays or unsuccessful completion of thesis. Many students are successful but, some never finish. One of the main reasons for non-completion is that “the student never really started’. Finally, it is hoped that students will find research interesting and unintimidating.
