Problem Statement, Research Objectives, Research Questions and Hypothesis for Quantitative study
This is an important part of your study. I will explain how to write problem
statement. The first step in research is the formulation
of problem statement. A “problem”
does not necessarily mean that something is seriously wrong with a current
situation that needs to be
rectified immediately. A problem could also indicate
an interest in an issue where finding the right answers might help to improve
an existing situation. A problem is any situation where a gap exists between an
actual and a desired ideal state.
The problem statement will lead to the development of research objectives and questions.
The following resources will enable you to develop your problem statement, research objectives, research questions, and framework
Apart from the resources provided, please search for related resources (research articles, book chapters, videos, etc.)
A preliminary literature search is necessary to enable you to formulate a correct problem statement. Completing this activity will enable you to formulate the problem statement
