Introduction & Topic Learning Outcomes

Welcome to topic 9. In topic 9 we will study the types of network components in relevant to the assignment of this module. There are 2 main learning outcomes you will need to achieve through this lesson, as shown below. You will also spend approximately 16 hours on this lesson.

·       Explain the function and characteristics of common internetworking devices of a Local Area Network

·       Discuss how internetworking devices can be used to connect hosts in a network based on the given scenario.
