Now that you have learnt about ID Principles, and how different AI tools can help enhance the learning experiencing by aiding the principles, let's give it a try, shall we?

The following are your instructions:

Select one AI tool from the following:

  • Canva AI (for designing interactive infographics, presentations, or multimedia learning content)
  • ChatGPT (for generating interactive conversations, quizzes, or personalized tutoring content)
  • Synthesia (for creating AI-generated video lessons or tutorials)

Create a simple interactive learning resource using the selected AI tool. Ensure that it incorporates at least one instructional design principle from the following:

  • Multimodal Learning – Using text, visuals, audio, and video to enhance understanding.
  • Personalization – Tailoring content to the learner’s needs and learning preferences.
  • Interactivity – Encouraging learner engagement through interactive elements.

Submission: Upload a screenshot or link to your AI-generated learning resource.

Write a short reflection (100-150 words) explaining:

  • Which AI tool you used.
  • Which instructional design principle you applied.
  • How your resource enhances engagement and interactivity.

Peer Review:

  • Review at least one peer’s submission and use the provided rubric to assess their work.
  • Provide constructive feedback on their application of AI and instructional design principles.

How WORKSHOP Activity Works

  1. You will answer the question and submit your answer in the dedicated submission link
  2. You will be assigned one of your colleague's answer for your review. Review the work assigned to you using the provided rubrics
  3. YOu receive marks for your submission (80%) and for your review (20%)
