This module introduces the fundamental concepts of programming and applications using high-level programming languages within the film/visual effects industry. Students will learn the basics of high-level programming languages and develop their programming structure to create a platform and integrate contents such as 3D geometries, particles, lights, simulations, animations, and controllers with the user interface for 3D and VFX applications. At the end of the module, students will produce their platform with control panels, simulations, and animated scenes using the powerful scripting languages for industry-standard applications such as Maya, Blender, and Houdini software.
