Firstly one must get a complete understanding of the laws, regulations and customs of the region that they are goign to be operating within. the more detailed the better. Large multinational companies like Alpha that operate in over 40 countries must be sensitive the culture of the region and people that they are embedded withnin so as to avoid any uneccesary embarrassment.

Secondly would be to simplify things and develop a system that can work as a basic template for international operations and would be slightly tweaked depending on the type of operations and locale. This would encourage the building of a team that is naturally internationally inclined from the get go and would have an internal appreciation and understanding for cross cultural interactions that would be passed down through training to all employees.

Lastly, there may be a lack of trainability of employees as the companies expands in scale but simultaneously would have a very large talent pool to choose a proper candidate. This strategy maybe an improvement upon the high turnover rates faced by indian companies by being able to have a better pick from a larger pool or more qualified international candidates.
