The recent changes in Human Resource Management (HRM) are a response to economic and social shifts. Globalization has made the job market more competitive, and companies now seek talent worldwide while focusing on performance. Technology advances, like digitalization and automation, require workers to have better skills and adaptability. New generations entering the workforce bring different values, including a stronger focus on work-life balance. A more diverse workforce and the rise of gig jobs mean companies must be more inclusive and flexible. HR has shifted from administrative tasks to becoming a strategic partner, using data and technology to improve decisions and enhance the employee experience. In my opinion, these changes are important for businesses to remain competitive and create a positive work environment.
