At the crux of a Global HR, as the name reflects, is the agility of the HR process across the dynamics of internal labor market diversity that comes in the following forms:

  • employees from diverse culture  - nationalities, ethnics
  • employees of different generation - baby boomers, X, Y, Z
  • labor market mobility - people move in and out of the organisation
The above differences bring in a mix of diverse personalities, way of thinking, way of doing things.

As such, an agile HR incorporate in its process; a balance of objectivity and subjectivity: - objectivity (being objective in process and standards); while at the same time, inspire openness to diversity, use of wisdom in managing conflicts, and promote cultural sensitivity and emotional intelligence.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity , multi-cultural friendly and awareness on labor law and industrial relations are very important.
