How HRM Becomes a Global Context:

In the past, companies mainly hired employees for their own country, and everything was limited to the local market. But when "Drive Global" started expanding to other countries, HR became more complicated. This change happened because of globalization. Globalization means that different countries and markets are connected, and technology has made it easier for companies to enter other countries. Because of this, HR now has to think about different countries, and this is what makes HR a global job now.

Key Features of Global HRM:

    Internal Challenges:

Cultural Diversity: In a big company like "Drive Global," where employees come from over 50 different countries, it’s important to work with different cultures. For example, some people might care more about work hours or have different values.

Managing Global Talent: HR not only has to hire skilled people from other countries, but they also have to send their employees abroad to gain international experience.

Managing Global Knowledge: Since people carry knowledge, HR has to make sure that this knowledge is available everywhere, for everyone.

In the end, as companies grow in other countries, HR work becomes much more complicated, and it’s not just about the home country anymore. HR has to deal with internal challenges like cultural differences and external challenges like different laws in each country.
