The primary reason of recent transition in HRM is obviously globalisation. Now a days businesses are expanding through out the world and thats why diverse workforce need to handled by the companies. As such, HRM must recruit right people for the right place. HR must recruit people from different countries throughout the world, so people from different society are becoming the team members of one organisation. Also companies operating different parts of the world, so each country has different economic conditions.

Re: The evolution of the recent HR functions/roles
I thibnk you made a good point on how globalization had a significant role in the evolution of HRM. I agree that it is now crucial for companies to manage a multicultural, global workforce. It's also true that the position of HR is more complicated due to economic disparities between nations. HR must thus be more strategic in its hiring practices as well as in modifying leadership, talent management, and policies to suit each local situation.
