Alpha Computers is a global company which is known for using innovative Human Resource Practices and focused on prioritising it's intellectual property. Its currently operating in over 40 countries. While it has successfully expanded, managing human resources across multiple cultures gets tough. To continue this growth effectively, Alpha needs an adaptive HR strategy that can incorporate global stands while also acknowledging local requirements  to achieve flexibility, which is also known as Polycentric Approach.

As per the casestudy, Alpha has appointed HR leaders from business background that dominantly take part in strategic planning. In my opinion, Alpha should ensure to empoer other local officers in overseas to develop strategies customized to local requirements and market preferances, contributing to overall company's strategy.

Similarly, Alpha uses Metrics system that gather feedback from customers and suppliers, to further enhance this Alpha can adopt global performance metrics to ensure its relevancy across boarders while also including other factors like employee satisfaction levels and employee engagement.

In terms of staffing, Alpha strives to staff locally at least 20% of all positions in all of its overseas operation. To make more flexible and adaptable, Alpha can set hiring goals tailored to each country and invest in training and development programs that build string local leadership. Moreover,  mobility between global and local workforce can allow transfer of skills and better collaboration.

As mentioned that some subsidiaries feel the company is heavily controlled from the headquarters in India. To solve this issues, Alpha can decentralise decision making to regional or local offices or create a collaborative unit where strategies can be mutually agreed upon.

In addition to it, the financial scandal which in which a senior leader was involved has negatively affected the company's reputation. Alpha can reinforce the importance of ethical leadership in all its subsidiaries and strict accountability measures to prevent it happening again in the future.

In conclusion, it's crucial for Alpha to find a middle ground between global standardisation and local flexibility, allowing longterm global success.
