The idea of HRM evolving globally first started when the organization sees that it could help them gain competitive advantage amongst competitors. For example Accenture, they are one of the well known companies that majority in the IT industry would wish to enter and be apart of their organization what really stood out from Accenture is that everyone knows that they are an MNC company with a diverse culture and great employee benefits, those aspect/factors helped them recruit employees that performs well and help push the company further and upwards.
Key features of global HRM:
- Planning: how it can be done and what to be done to make it global
- Staffing: which includes recruiting, selection of suitable people and placing the right employees on the right position
- Training and Development: training employees to adapt or ace/grow in their current position
- Performance: reviewing employees performance and ensure that they are developing in what they do
- Benefits and compensation: helps employee feel seen and appreciated with what they are working for
- Employment relations: making sure that conflicts are being resolve between employees to make a better work environment
