As subject-matter experts we need to familiarise ourselves in writing effective Learning Outcomes. Understanding bloom's taxonomy and it's relation to their suitable assessment methods is a key factor in ID. Once we have understood the way LOs were written, the process of designing the learning sequence and inclusion of additional information will be much more easier, manageable and organised.

Agreed. Instruction must be concerned with the experiences and contexts that make the student willing and able to learn.
