How HRM evolves into a global context?
HRM activities used to be simpler, and they were only influenced by the domestic market. HRM only managed all activities involving local employees, which included six core areas: planning, staffing (employee recruitment, selection, and placement), training and development, performance, compensation and benefits, and employment relationships. When a company decides to enter the foreign market, HRM takes on a global perspective. The company or organisation will grow into a worldwide corporation with several subsidiaries throughout the world. Because these subsidiaries rely on their own HRM, HRM tasks will become more complicated as personnel from different countries have different cultures and preferences.
