It also allows company to utilized the most effective human resources to function better and hence to achieve overall growth for the company. On the contrary, lack of people management brings endless headaches not only between the workers but also the outcomes caused by people. For instance delay of one task might result in delay for others as well, eventually turn into direct loss for the company. 

in order to be successful, managers need to fulfill staff's job satisfaction, good communication to boost motivation, deal with conflict between people to establish social relationship environment and effective team, appreciate staff for their contribution.

This is true, if there is a problem in an area on the company, it will affect other area too usually.

Nicely said. From my work experience, doing the work is easy. The hardest part is dealing with people. Each and everyone will have their own professional goals, judgment and temperament.
