The changing demographics have made employees set their expectations for a work balance, quick career opportunities, and a non-toxic working environment. It has altered HRM's motto, which usually focuses more on achieving business goals and higher revenue but also considers the employees' opinions to satisfy their needs. It also occurs due to globalization, which challenges HRM to always be up to date with any changes related to labor laws, especially in a multinational company where language barriers and cultural backgrounds become the primary concerns. In addition, the rapid expansion of technology also added more tasks to HRM in hiring human resources to be more selective due to the increased competition in the industry and economic pressure where they need to think about minimizing cost and boosting efficiency without affecting the employees' working motivation.
