The way businesses manage their people, called Human Resource Management (HRM), is changing a lot because of different reasons. Technology is getting better and helps with HR tasks, making things easier. The world is more connected now, so companies have employees in different places and cultures, and HR needs to figure out how to manage them. People working now are of different ages and have different needs, so HR has to make rules that fit everyone. Also, companies care more about how happy their employees are and want to make sure they feel good while working. HR roles used to be about basic things like hiring and paying, but now they're more about working with the company's big plans, making sure workers are learning and growing, using data to make choices, and making sure everyone feels good at work. It's a big change from the old HR! All in all, these reasons along with others have brought about the recent transition in HRM.
