It seems quite obvious that if companies hire the most talented experts, they will gain the best results in terms of productivity and growth. What managers forget is that pure talent is not enough for the longevity of organizational growth. It is imperative that there be a focus on nurturing employees' wellbeing, meeting their needs and providing a safe and healthy work environment.

Google as been ranked as the best company to work for time and time again for mainly one reason: it takes care of its people. By providing a plethora of benefits and encouraging a culture of openness, it continues to have the happiest and most productive workforce.

Nissan is another example of a company with a focus on continuous improvement based on the concept of kaizen. Kaizen allows Nissan to make small positive changes within its workforce to ensure the highest levels of productivity and morale. This concept, along with the encouragement of HR transparency and individual autonomy, provides an exciting environment for employees to truly shine.

Both of these examples provide evidence that the methods of dealing with the people who make up an organization are the bread and butter for a successful business. The true essence of all companies lies within their workforce, so it would only make sense to cultivate it. There are a few key components that may help organizations in achieving the best levels of people management:

CREATE - Creating the right teams for a business starts with the methods of talent acquisition. By ensuring that the hiring methods are thorough and reflect the type of culture the company has, managers can build the best fit workforce.

COMPREHEND - Understanding and catering to the needs and personalities of employees allows managers to provide them with a sense of safety and security because they would feel comfortable in their working environment.

COMMUNICATE - Encouraging openness and providing lateral communication channels allows employees to feel recognized and heard. Ideas can be easily bounced off employees as well as managers which can lead to an increase in innovation.

COLLABORATE - Collaboration amongst employees is another factor that contributes to high levels of innovation in organizations. By allowing people to work together and bring in ideas from different fields, companies are able to gain the best results.

CONFRONT - Acknowledging and tackling issues head on in a safe and positive environment is another effective way to reduce friction and encourage productivity in organizations. Employees in an accountable work environment are employees with a sense of responsibility in the wellbeing of their company.

Given the explanation of the 5Cs and the examples related to the two companies, it is a clear and understandable statement.
