Based on reading i just completed there are two main social and economic reasons that brought about recent HRM

  1. COVID 19, the existence of covid 19 has brought about the change in purose,potential and perception that the management should also consider hybrid and romote work. 
  2. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, globalization inclusively. How to manage people from alone to team work,activities done in improved tecnical conditions and people managent strategies change over time.
Evolved HR functions

  1. No autonomy
  2. No self management
  3. Inflexible
  4. Work in community,larger noice workplace(team work).
