Activity 1: Forum
This week, we'll explore the core principles that fuel successful entrepreneurs: spotting opportunities and using creativity to solve problems.
As the titles suggest (Entrepreneurship is about spotting opportunities, Entrepreneurship is about creativity, and entrepreneurship is about vision), these skills are the foundation for positive change.
Recap YouTube Video:
But before we dive in, let's warm up those creative muscles with a quick exercise!
Here's the challenge:
Object Odyssey: Pick a seemingly ordinary object from your surroundings (a pen, paper clip, a mug, a shoe, a tin can, egg cotton, rubber band, etc). Now, unleash your inner inventor and brainstorm five new and unexpected uses for this object. The more outlandish, the better!
Take a few minutes to brainstorm independently, then share your most creative ideas with your classmates. Let's see how many ways we can transform everyday objects and ignite the potential for positive change!
Example:
1) Pen :
- Make-shift straw
- Packaging Opening
- Book Mark
- Stirrer
- Improvised button pusher
2) Paper Clip:
- Skewer
- Toothpick
- Circuit closer
- Mini screwdriver
- Compass
