Activity 7: Forum

Welcome to the Lean Startup Forum, where we bridge the gap between artistic vision and successful ventures! Now that you've explored the Lean Startup methodology, let's get your creative ideas off the ground and into the hands of your target audience.

The Challenge:  Imagine you're launching a new creative venture in your field.  This could be a service, a product, an experience, or anything your imagination conjures!  Let's use Lean Startup principles to navigate the journey:

1)     Value Proposition Hypothesis: What specific problem are you solving or what unmet need are you addressing for your target audience? In a single, clear sentence, define the unique value your venture offers.

2)     Minimum Viable Product (MVP): How can you create the most basic version of your offering that allows you to validate your value proposition hypothesis? This could be a prototype, a pilot program, a sample product, or a service demonstration.

3)     Customer Discovery: Who are your ideal customers? Describe their demographics, interests, and challenges. What are they currently using to solve this problem (or not solving it at all)?

4)     Build-Measure-Learn: Outline your initial Build-Measure-Learn cycle. What will your MVP look like? How will you test it with your target audience? What metrics will you use to measure its effectiveness (e.g., customer feedback, engagement, sales)?

5)     Pivot or Persevere: Based on your initial customer tests, would you adapt and refine your offering (pivot), or continue iterating on your current approach? Explain your reasoning.

6)     Creative Constraints: Lean Startup emphasizes building with limited resources. Describe how you can leverage existing skills, materials, or collaborations to create your MVP.

Notes:

This is a collaborative space! Share your creative concepts, challenge each other's assumptions, and let's build innovative ventures that thrive in the real world.
