Scenario Creation for SBL
Completion requirements
Let’s Create Your First Scenario!
Now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and create your own SBL activity!
Here’s how:
- Pick a real-world challenge that’s relevant to what you teach.
- Think about the concepts or skills your students need to apply.
- Write a short description of the scenario.
- Design tasks that make students think critically and take action.
- Plan how you’ll give feedback—what will help your students learn and grow?
Example Scenario:
Imagine you’re teaching business ethics. Your scenario could be:
- "You’re the manager of a company, and a whistleblower has exposed unethical practices. How will you maintain the company’s integrity while addressing the situation?"
Tips for Success:
- Encourage students to discuss their ideas with each other.
- Start simple—your first scenario doesn’t need to be perfect!
You are not able to create a discussion because you are not a member of any group.
Separate groups: All participants
