By empathizing with users, designers can gain a deep understanding of their perspectives and experiences.

Define: In this stage, designers synthesize the insights gathered during the empathize stage to define the users' needs and problems. By framing the problem from the users' perspective, designers ensure that the solutions they develop are relevant and meaningful. Empathy guides designers to focus on the most critical issues and challenges faced by users, rather than making assumptions based on their own perspectives.

Ideate: Empathy continues to play a crucial role in the ideation stage. Designers use their understanding of users' needs and problems to generate a wide range of creative solutions. By putting themselves in the users' shoes, designers can think beyond conventional solutions and explore innovative ideas that address users' underlying needs. Empathy encourages designers to consider diverse perspectives and think empathetically about how different users might experience the solution.

Prototype: During this stage, designers create low-fidelity prototypes to quickly test and iterate on their ideas. Empathy helps designers anticipate how users will interact with the prototypes and identify any usability issues or pain points. Test: In the final stage of the Design Thinking process, designers test their prototypes with real users to validate their solutions and gather feedback.
