- Identify the programmes run at Kiwanis Centres;
- Comprehend the roles of at least three Kiwanis Centres with respect to the programmes for the different age groups of children.
- Comprehend the roles of other NGOs relating to special needs children

- Describe a mission statement for a new Kiwanis centre;
- Describe how to set a new Kiwanis centre for children with special education needs
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of office bearers of a Centre Management Committee (CMC) of a Kiwanis centre;
- Describe the roles of government agencies and regulations related to SEN i.e. Social Welfare Department (Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat – JKM) and Ministry of Education (MOE)
- Discuss issues surrounding rules on special needs care centres and form judgements of rules that you will consider when setting up a special needs centre.
