I think that most of the companies has a strong business case for adapting SHRM and also that HR professionals have embraced SHRM out of interest. The reason for this is that the benefits and it is more output driven rather than input driven. SHRM helps organizations to align their HR practices with organizational goals. Moreover, SHRM helps companies to create positive work culture. Other than these HR professionals embrace this approach as it brings employees and managers closer which results in securing high employee retention rate and also, it helps employees to understand the goals of the company.
