As per the case study i think there are several reasons for the recent transition in the HRM. One of the main reason is the globalization, impacting not only large scale companies but also small scale companies. Due to this, now companies requires the need for strategic alliance and this has resulted in talent shortages. However, with the evolution of HRM companies focus more on business decisions such as global mobility, filling talent deployment gaps and skill gaps. Therefore, according to the case study it can be stated that companies are evolving into strategic HRM by focusing on increasing global mobility through people management.
