Building the assessments at the beginning and using them as a road map to designing the course content seems a lot more efficient.

I AGREEE  with the subject matter expert and during the process of carrying on a concrete design, most of lecturers  will design on the basis of the teaching materials and theoretical of instructional design. However, we need to noticed that learning design should start with the problems existed in the past. Before we evolve a solution for the problem in accordance with theories, we should examine the problems in the practical teaching.

 

For example ; lecturers need to focus on describing a relationship between the specific target with the students’ domain of knowledge, as well as what methods and procedures designed to achieve this goal. Relative to each specific objective, students’ domain knowledge are different, so that we can not only talked about it in general terms and didn't go into details.
