Effective teaching is based on giving students feedback on time. After a topic is finished, I've found that including brief quizzes is a very helpful tool. Students can check their understanding right away, and the self-checking feature encourages independence and self-evaluation. Having direct conversations with students makes it easier to determine whether the lesson's content was effectively delivered. Beyond these student-centered strategies, personal reflection is a key component of my teaching strategy. I gain a wider perspective on areas of success and those that require improvement by regularly noting observations in a notebook and sharing experiences with colleagues. I continuously improve my teaching techniques to better serve my students using these combined strategies.
