Input from learners or students is crucial to the success of teaching and learning strategies because it gives us the teachers an important understanding of the needs and viewpoints of our audience, which improves teaching and learning results. When we ask questions that elicit answers that diverge from our intended course of instruction, we have to reevaluate their understanding and encourage them back in the correct direction. As such, it becomes necessary to include impromptu or frequent questions in the learning process. We as teachers can use student feedback to critically analyze our methods of instruction, and students can use it to gauge their own growth and development.
