People are the major resource of any organisation and the recruiting, hiring, deploying and managing the employees is the practice managed by human resource department. HRM is employee management with an emphasis on employees as company assets, sometimes referred to as human capital in this context. HRM practises manage the people in a workplace to fulfil the organisation's objective and to reinforce the culture. Initially, Human resources was used to define the individuals who work for the company in aggregate in the early 1900s, and then more commonly in the 1960s.
