Academics and professionals have embraced SHRM because it can help them see more clearly about methods of managing and retaining talent, as well as how to innovate the working environment to become more positive and effective for the organization. At the same time, it also helps organizations come up with options for arranging human resources in accordance with the strategic goals that the company is aiming for, thereby enhancing competitive advantage. Not only that, it is also considered a bridge to connect employees together, increasing employee satisfaction with the company. Therefore, the belief that scholars and HR professionals have accepted SHRM for personal benefit is not entirely accurate, as SHRM not only benefits individuals but also provides tangible benefits and contributes to the overall success of an organization.
