In my opinion, I believed that academics and HR Professionals have embraced strategic human resource management due to several reasons including the strong business case it presents and potential benefits it offers to organizations. It is not primarily driven by self-interest but rather by the recognition of the value that a strategic approach to HRM can bring such as enhance organizational performance, adaptation to changing business, talent acquisition and retention and many more.
