Due to Covid-19, globalization and emergence of new technology and AI in the workplace, there has been a shift in HRM trends. There is a large emphasis on HR analytics and investment of HR technology, to better collect and analyze data plus simplify the HR process. HRM have to also keep up with flexibility policies of companies that offer hybrid and remote work. Due to this and the usage of new technology, there is a need to conduct training so that new and existing employees can adapt to these changes. There also has been a shift to using strategic HRM. Traditional HR strategies are left behind and new ones are fitted to the framework of the overall business objectives. This provides a competitive advantage for the company in this era of globalization.
