SHRM Encourages HR professionals to make decision based on data analysis , it views employees as assets of the organisation , leveraging their capabilities to ensure that human capital in natured and developed as a source of competitive advantage .
Is there a strong business case for the strategic approach to HRM, or is it more the case that academics and HR professionals have embraced SHRM out of self-interest?
