HRM is a future oriented processĀ of developing and implementing HR programs that address and solve business problems and directly contribute to major long-term business objectives. Since the main focus of HR is business oriented, I believe they adopted and embraced SHRM for the purpose of achieving organizational and business objectives and goals. With the aid of SHRM, HR examines the performance of each department and how they interact with the rest of the business. They then identify ways for departments to improve and hire employees with the right mix of skills and abilities to make that happen.
