Academics and professionals are adopting strategic HRM because of rational choice and constituency based perspective. Rational choice which is focused on people's skills and intellectual assets to provide competitive advantage while constituency based is focused on obtaining respect for HRM and enhancing the status of HR managers within the organization.
Strategic approach to HRM is a strong business case and not a self-interest of people consider that most of the HR is never or only sometimes a major part of their companies overall strategy. Therefore, HR participation is encouraging to have a stronger understanding of their functions within the organization
